The youngest of 6 sisters, Mira was born and brought up in the town of Haenam, famous across the country for its food. Mira was taught how to cook in a family setting, and was also brought up with a love of fresh ingredients – both from the family property, and from the nearby sea.
Mira has been living in Krakow for over 7 years, and has even created her own small garden on her terrace in Salwator where she grows vegetables and herbs essential to create genuine Korean food. I spend nice evening at Mira's apartment which was like an spectacular adventure with Korean cuisine. Food was delicious and i even asked for extra portion :) I would definitely visit Mira again for her fantastic kimchi and hospitality.
It was a lovely evening with delicious korean meals. Mira is a wonderful host :) Definitely worth trying.

I was very happy to be able to try some new Korean dishes with Mira this time. The highlight of this meal were the ribs, cooked to perfection in a slight gravy with potatoes and carrots. It went perfectly with her homemade kimchi (but then again, what doesn't?). The pancakes for dessert stuffed with walnuts and cinnamon were a delicious surprise, as I had never seen anything like that before in Korean cuisine. I can't wait for Mira's kimchi workshop and for Bibimbap!
