Mira's Chopsticks
Join me for an Asian fusion meal, full of flavour of the Far East. I will be cooking at home, using special ingredients I bring back with me from Korea whenever I go home, as well as traditional Korean vegetables and spices which I grow right here in Krakow – for sure you won’t find them in the local market!
Starter:
Doenjang Soup - Korean miso soup
or (depending on the day)
Spring Rolls, fresh vegetables, pineapple and chicken wrapped in rice paper. Served with peanut sauce.
Side Dishes:
Kimchi - Different types of fermented vegetables (cabbage, radish or cucumber)
Zucchini pancakes, Fish cakes, Shrimp chips (depending on the day)
Sujeonggwa - Traditional Korean cinnamon punch
Main Course 1:
Sweet and sour chicken – Marinated chicken, fried and mixed with vegetables and sweet and sour chili sauce.
Main Course 2:
Sushi – The ingredients are salmon, avocado, tuna, shrimp and others.
Dessert:
Sponge roll cakes – with whipped cream and red bean filling.

Mira was taught how to cook in a family setting, and was also brought up with a love of fresh ingredients – both from the family property, and from the nearby sea.Mira has been living in Krakow for over 7 years, and has even created her own small garden on her terrace in Salwator where she grows vegetables and herbs essential to create genuine Korean food. Mira takes extra care in the fine details of food presentation. The array of culinary delights Mira served gave a fantastic feel of asian fusion vibes. Mira’s thoughtfulness exceeded our expectations when she surprised us with a scrumptious birthday cake for one of the guests celebrating on the day. Thank you and see you again Mira!

Ahhh it was amazing evening! Mira is so friendly and shares many interesting stories about her country, culture and family. Her food is very delicious!! One of the best I have eaten in my life :) Don't eat anything before going to Mira...she prepares tones of food ;) Thank you again Mira!
Polish people love to brag about their hospitality and many times it is true. But never have I experienced such warmth and care for the guests as I have at Mira's! She is a truly wonderful person, full of passion for cooking. You will not leave her place hungry :)
