The youngest of 6 sisters, Mira was born and brought up in the town of Haenam, famous across the country for its food. Mira was taught how to cook in a family setting, and was also brought up with a love of fresh ingredients – both from the family property, and from the nearby sea.
Mira has been living in Krakow for over 7 years, and has even created her own small garden on her terrace in Salwator where she grows vegetables and herbs essential to create genuine Korean food. Mira was a wonderful host, but also a wonderful, warm person & Mira's food was absolutely delicious. There were six of us, including three quests, Mira and her lovely two friends, I felt so welcomed and comfortable chatting with all and having wonderful Mira's delicacies! And the food: so first with starters - delicious kimchi and other vegetables, fried or marinated, warming Doenjang Soup with seaweeds, then spring rolls and my favorite - sweet and sour chicken and also sushi - all in abundance! I barely managed to have a dessert for a finale! I also have to admit that Sujeonggwa, "the Korean compote" is much better than the Polish version (Mira! I'd love to get a recipe!). I would recommend Mira's Chopsticks to anyone looking for a genuine, insightful and so very tasty Korean experience and would do it again in a heartbeat!

So yummy !!!! Mira's Friday feast was a fantastic, diverse and extra tasty feast. The dishes just kept coming: Mira's own kimchi, divine rice paper rolls, yummy chicken with vegetables, not to mention amazing fresh sushi, a sweet roulade with fresh berries for dessert and an amazing green...

Mira's food quality and the taste are amazing. I would truly recommend it to everyone who wants to try real Korean food, in the nice friendly atmosphere, with beautifully set up table. All her dishes are fresh and tasty. I could say she is a real chef who cooks with passion.

Mira's food was amazing in flavor and presentation, and I believe she makes the best sushi rolls in town! We learned about Korean cooking and culture, and had a wonderful evening in her spacious apartment which overlooks the Wisła river with a view of Wawel castle. Mira special orders her ingredients, has many items sent straight from Korea, serves all home-made sauces and grows her own herbs/vegetables. This makes for an exceptional flavor experience, from the appetizers all the way to dessert served with Korean green tea. I highly recommend visiting Mira, and maybe I'll meet you there because I will definitely be returning!
