It went perfectly with her homemade kimchi (but then again, what doesn't?). The pancakes for dessert stuffed with walnuts and cinnamon were a delicious surprise, as I had never seen anything like that before in Korean cuisine. I can't wait for Mira's kimchi workshop and for Bibimbap!

If you want to enjoy traditional Korean food served in Korea during their New Year, you don’t have a choice – the dinner at Mira’s place in Kraków is a must! Don’t miss it! Tons of comments say that she is excellent cook and they don’t lie. Mira’s cooking is delicate and full of flavors, she puts a lot of work into the taste and the presentation. I always enjoy her excellent cabbage and radish kimchi which is crispy, fresh and spicy – better than those which I tried in restaurants in Kraków. Her fish cake and zucchini pancakes, served as an appetizer, tasted perfectly with secret dressing. Ok, I know kimchi and fishakes as well as mandu, but I was terribly curious about other traditional dishes (she learnt from her mother). Tteokguk soup was very delicate, its taste was enriched by bulgogi beef, perfect cuts of egg omlet and seaweeds. Traditional Korean braised pig ribs, with sauce from soy, carrots, onions, radish and other vegetables, served with rice were also very nice. Meat was perfectly cooked, it was soft and tender. At Mira’s you have a unique chance to try Hotteok – delicious Korean pancakes filled with walnuts, cinnamon and cane sugar. Delicious!

Encouraged by one of our friends – we agreed to try eataway formula, on Friday the 5th of February.

The choice was Corean food prepared by Mira.

Despite the fact that i know quite well original asian kitchen (chinese, cambodian, vietnamiese, indonesian, japanese and some others) - I was curious to try corean food and to experience homemade dinner, served by Mira.

The dinner was composed of various entrance side dishes; delicious soupe; main dish composed of rolles but also warm chicken and finished with dessert.

We could also try a traditional homemade cold drink, prepared with lots of various spices.

The quality of products was excellent; food was tasty and the amount of food would not disappoint even the biggest gourmands.

Me personally, I liked especially the soup. It was a balanced, tasty kind of miso – though less salty (which I liked a lot), more subtile, with delicious alges and tofu. Smooth, tasty and healthy.

What we noticed next to the food that was served, was hospitality of Mira; her openness in discussion; easy way of explaining us Corean tradition and a will: to spread not only love for her national dishes – but also curiosity of the Country and culture.

I would like to underline, that Kira prepared her dinner in children friendly way. Children (there were 2 of them) - had an option to eat what they like, as much as they like and they did not have to be corrected all the time. They simply felt comfortable, they felt guests as well, they could participate in their own adventure.

For those who would like to try – I have no hesitation to recommend Kira, even, I have an extra advice: to profit of her presence more than just an excellent cook who takes care of the table. It is definitively worth to enter a talk with her – which brings an overvalue for the evening.

I can only confirm all the fantastic feedbacks Mira received on Eataway site. She is an exceptional cook, a real artist and a very warm hostess. Her food is delicious and incredibly well presented. She is a perfectionist and wants to make us test the "real" Corean food, ordering most of her ingredients directly from Corea! My two teen boys love Mira's food as well, so for sure we'll be back! I strongly recommend anyone who want to have an exceptional "warm and tasty" evening!

Mira my friend, you're a star!
