The experience was unforgettable. Lovely setting, incredibly warm and interesting people to meet, lots of laughing...this was an evening I will remember for a long time. I have never been to this type of dinner before and absolutely loved it, it felt as a family dinner or meeting old friends. And I have yet to mention the food! An amazing meal, the best you can get to experience Poland. I am actually Polish and participated together with my American boyfriend, we had already spent a week going to great Polish restaurants and trying all the local food...but this was something else. You just can't beat grandma's recipes and homemade food, made with care and love. Marta is an incredible cook and I really enjoyed her laid back and open approach while serving this amazing 4-course meal. I can't recommend the experience enough and look forward to repeating it!

I highly recommend a unique and wonderful dinner with Marta and her family in their home. I was able to ask questions about Poland and different places I planned to see. I also met a few other couples who signed up for the dinner here and discuss their travels. The Polish meal they cooked was delicious. I had a week in Kraków and am so glad I was able to spend one evening with Marta & her beautiful family who served such a great meal. I give her a 10+

We had a lovely evening: The apartment was in a really interesting place overlooking Krakow. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and Marta introduced us to her family and friends. We got to try some delicious traditional food, including borscht soup, so all in all it was a memorable evening, I think my only slight disappointment was that there were five other English speaking guests there, though this apart I did get to meet some very delightful Polish people and get some insight into how the Krakowions lived.

Często jadam na mieście, nie tylko w Krakowie, ale atmosfery i jedzenia jakie jest u Marty nie da się podrobić nigdzie! Marta gotuje nie tylko przepysznie, gotuje z serca. I to czuć w każdym daniu, obojętnie czy to barszcz, curry czy sushi. Do tego nie ma sztywnej atmosfery, każdy czuję się jak u siebie. Luz, rozmowy na każdy temat i najlepsze żarcie, którego nigdy za mało - to spotkacie u Marty.

A wonderful evening. We were warmly welcomed by the family and their friends. Other guests were there too. We thoroughly enjoyed talking to the family and gaining insights about Polish life, times, interests, politics , history etc. The dinner was delicious, particularly the 'pierogi' . It is such a great idea to offer this opportunity to meet and dine with a local Polish family, and we shall recommend you to our friends!

Thanks for the fantastic evening in your lovely apartment! Marta and Mark are fantastic, interesting and welcoming hosts. We immediately felt at home. We had a fabulous Polish three course meal accompanied by beer and great wine. The food was so good and some of us, hating beetroot, loved the soup, so different from what we know. Goulash as a main course and on top we got a warm apple pie for desert, all very yummy. We were a group of eight German friends and most of them never had this experience of having dinner with locals in their home. They were really excited and already decided to do something like that again. If you ever come to Germany, let us know and be our guest!!
