For the last 5 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person.
My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.
Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!

It was an amazing experience, definitely not the last time. The meal was unique, a very nice combination of local, traditional and innovative menu, perfectly prepared and served. It was a very good opportunity to meet open minded travellers from all over the world. Thank you Marta :)
It was a great experience for our group! Even by heavy rain all of us was happy to cook together with Marta in her beautiful house. We are coming back!
We a lovely evening with our host. The food was exquisite and the conversation was amazing.
We will certainly do this again.
This experience was incredible. Not only was the food amazing, the company was outstanding. Marta was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and entertaining. She went above and beyond sharing about the meal. This was the highlight of or trip.
Hello Marta and many thanks for a fabulous 15 years celebration at your cabin in Marcyporeba.
A fantastic place out in the forest with a table ready for feast. We had fantastic starters based on typical polish traditions before we entered into the main course. The main course, consisting of Sheep-heads from Voss in Norway, tasted wonderful and gave us the right atmosphere for a 15 years sheep head celebration. The cheese cake by the bonfire rounded off a perfect evening. Thank you Marta for creating the nice and warm atmosphere and for making our 15 years celebration a success. Arne H
Marta and her daughter welcomed us into their home and taught us how to make the best Pierogi we’ve ever tasted! Would love to go back and learn more from them!
Delicious doughnats! My second year in row ;)
We had a brilliant time with Marta, a real highlight of our trip to Krakow. Thanks so much for a really memorable experience. We can't wait to book more cooking classes in the future!
Very good Polish doughnuts!
All I could wish for and more I found at Marta's place. In addition to the experience, I left with my own "Pajak" carefully packed in homemade box. I left with the desire to make another one, since Marta thought me how. Generosity of materials and creativity was amazing to be around. Thank you Marta. I'll be back with friends if you have a free spot for us, so they can taste best Cheesecake (yum yum, chocolate, caramel :) in Krakow.
Brilliant host! Amazing food& great location ;)
Amazing experience all around, would 100% recommend! Marta has everything prepared for us ahead of time to stay on schedule and make delicious pierogis. We made mini pierogis that went into borscht a classic pierogi and a new kind she was trying out with spinach dough and spinach, kale, lemon tofu filling. While we were waiting she had fresh beet-carrot juice and bread with dips. Our meal was amazing and she was great at showing us how to fold the pierogis. For dessert we had a fruit crumble with ice cream and homemade caramel sauce. Marta welcomed us into her home and made us not want to leave!
