For the last 5 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person.
My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.
Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!
It was a lovely evening and the atmosphere was amazing at Marta place. We were welcomed with a big hug.
It was the first time we went for Eataway diner however after meeting everyone we didn't feel anything like first time.
There were so many delicious dishes, difficult to decide which one to go first :)
We end-up eating so much that didn't have place for desert and Marta was so kind to pack us for home.
Also got a chance to meet Mira again and Zara for the first time, the wonderful Eataway hosts!
Thank you Marta for the wonderful diner, wish to visit again!
All the best!

I cannot recommend this enough - the food was fantastic, Marta was a welcoming host, and the whole atmosphere of the evening was just brilliant. A great opportunity to meet locals and visitors from around the world in an environment that feels like you've been invited to join part of a community!
Had an excellent evening with Marta and the other guests.
What a fabulous way to meet new friends and enjoy really good home cuisine. Can't recommend an evening with Marta enough.
Marta was a fantastic host!! She taught us so much about making pierogi, and then to follow that, we got to eat not only the pierogi, but an amazing meal with several delicious courses. One of the dishes was sour rye soup -- SO GOOD!! After that, we had sour rye soup every day on our trip, and want to try making it at home ourselves.
Thank you Marta! EatAway is so fantastic.
It was a delicious meal (żurek, veal, pierogi, sernik). I was just about to write that the soup was my favorite but then I remembered all of the other food! The company and conversation were also a highlight. Thank you Marta!
This afternoon we had such an amazing time with Marta and Mark at their wonderful home. We could be fully involved in the pierogi making process and seeing the preparation of the rest of the meal. Everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
And of course, the food, was fantastic! So much to try and all of it really tasty. We also had a lovely time getting to know everyone and even playing croquet. A great introduction to eataway for us!
It was a really fun evening with Marta and Mira and the other guests. We got there a bit early and my daughter was able to join in with making pierogi - which we then ate with our beetroot soup. The company was great, the food was fantastic and the wine flowed - what more needs to be said ! I definitely will be recommending a trip to Marta's to any of my friends visiting Krakow. Thank you
Best meal I've had in Poland! A good excuse to venture away from Old Town. Good fellowship in cozy atmosphere with other guests.
Waiting for another picnic! :)
Marta was an awesome host. The food was delicious, the conversation was interesting and Marta was friendly and fun.
We had a really fun evening with Marta starting the evening making Pierogi and then being joined by about 18 others for a 'Multi-Culti' evening with fabulous multi-cultural food cooked by Marta, Sheuli and Mia (and our contribution towards making the pierogi). It was fabulous meeting the three great cooks and a variety of people local and from further afield. Highly recommended and we are hooked; we will look for Eataway in any city we find ourselves from now on.
I had the chance to come early and make pierogi which was nice to learn. Then 20+ people dinner was a combination of several international courses. Most of my table companions were Polish, with 1 man from Belarus and an English couple from Brighton. Everything was great and I throughly enjoyed all the fresh dishes. The opportunity to learn a little more of another culture is always an added bonus to a great meal. Thank you Marta and Eataway for another great experience.
A beautiful house, a lovely garden, chatting in different languages and more food than you are able to try :) I am very grateful that I could join Marta's picnic!
Best weekend with open hearts and open minds and open views and open mouths. Fireside, hammock, love. Do whatever you can to join in on the next one.
Fabulous evening - enjoyed all of the food and loved the people. In particular the beetroot soup was a favourite!
