The Grande Potluck - eat out for Brześć Kids
The cooks united, all at our place again. The Grande Finale - our cooks together, for a great cause. We’ll take the form of the Multi-culti potluck - Marta will prepare big pot of Ramen and Matcha ice cream and each cook will bring some of their favorite foods. Be sure to come hungry, amazing things will land on the table on Sunday the 19th of November. Why we do so? We want to help out The Brześć Kids.
What is it all about? We the cooks - Eataway's family ) always feel like helping. We’ve seen Marina doing so many good things for the refugee kids stuck in Brześć, that we immediately felt like doing something together and here we go - cooks united again. For the last 12 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person.My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!

Marta is a patient, engaging host who gave us a true taste of Polish culinary tradition. Sitting down together to enjoy the delicious feast we made was an unforgettable highlight of our trip.

The Pierogi workshop with Marta was awesome! We absolutely loved the session! From the introduction, making the dough, making the pierogis, and finally eating them! She even prepared other dishes for us! All in all, it’s a top star recommendation!
