I want to introduce about Korean new year! We celebrate the day using the lunar calendar.
On New Year's, family members get together for a memorial service to their ancestors and visit close relatives. So, I want to introduce traditional Korean foods which are eaten on the day this time.

Mira was taught how to cook in a family setting, and was also brought up with a love of fresh ingredients – both from the family property, and from the nearby sea.Mira has been living in Krakow for over 7 years, and has even created her own small garden on her terrace in Salwator where she grows vegetables and herbs essential to create genuine Korean food. I’ve learnt so many useful tips from this dining experience! The skilled and charming Mira went above and beyond to accommodate a wonderful group of guests from all over the world around her table. Mira takes extra care in the fine details of food presentation. The array of culinary delights Mira served gave a fantastic feel of asian fusion vibes. Mira’s thoughtfulness exceeded our expectations when she surprised us with a scrumptious birthday cake for one of the guests celebrating on the day. Thank you and see you again Mira!

Ahhh it was amazing evening! Mira is so friendly and shares many interesting stories about her country, culture and family. Her food is very delicious!! One of the best I have eaten in my life :) Don't eat anything before going to Mira...she prepares tones of food ;) Thank you again Mira!
Polish people love to brag about their hospitality and many times it is true. But never have I experienced such warmth and care for the guests as I have at Mira's! She is a truly wonderful person, full of passion for cooking. You will not leave her place hungry :)

Mira is absolutely fabulous host! Her Lunar New Year dinner was spectacular. She is sweet, kind, and gracious besides being a spectacular chef. She explained the Korean dishes and gave a little history (and context) about specific foods and their significance. We had three kinds of kimchee, two appetizers, soup, dumplings, noodles with vegetables, simmered pork ribs and a rice and red bean dessert. She also served wine, a fruit compost and green tea. It was a group of twelve people and it was flawless. It was a feast for the eyes and our tummies. Everything was perfect!
