Some years ago, (exactly 10 years to be precise) I prepared a Thai green "Tallulah" curry at the Krakow Soup Festival. Bingo! Along with the editorial staff of cracow-life.com we won 3rd place! I called it “Tallulah” - because it was the favourite food of my daughter, who at that time did not want to eat anything else... apart from very occasionally pasta with green pesto with basil. Green, fragrant with fresh coriander and drizzled with lime, the curry appeared on our home / editorial table at least twice a week. And just as suddenly it disappeared - I guess we had eaten our fill. So I decided to go back to the proven recipe and make it for you. Welcome to my home, it will be spicy and Tallulah will be with us also - this time to serve at at the table!

You are welcome to bring your own bottle to the meal :)

For the last 12 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person. My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!

After making the dumplings, we were also served everything from appetizers to dessert, and everything was delicious. If you’re visiting Kraków, I would definitely recommend this as a great experience to try!

Marta's class was great! She has a wonderful kitchen and was very welcoming. We learned a lot about the polish culture as well as how to make three different pierogis. It's a very hands on class and you'll learn a lot.

The class is very well organized, in a beautiful kitchen surrounded by art. This is a very pleasant brunch activity (you leave well fed, and the pierogis are delicious!) and you can then go for an after-lunch walk through a forested park up the hill to get a beautiful view of the city.

Beautiful home, amazing pierogis, loved the hands on experience. You make all the dough and shape it! And Marta had great recommendations of how to get around the city and where to go.
