PIEROGI workshop
Good day good people! It is time for delicious Polish PIEROGI lesson . this is like a religion in Poland : ) Our culinary meeting takes place in Salwator, beautiful Krakow's area not far from Rynek Glowny – about 15 min by tram and 10 by taxi. I will prepare a traditional Polish meal with local produce, much of which is grown in my garden. in the heart of the countryside. Starting with a soup – probably chicken broth, or fresh vegetable soup, then a main course PIEROGI PIEROGI AND PIEROGI ... We will be preparing together famous fresh dumplings with different stuffings ( lot of fun and delicious! ) dinner+ cooking lesson. For dessert, look out for delicious cheesecake with chocolate sauce or salty caramel , sprinkled with wild berries from the garden or cracovian style apple pie. For the last 5 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person.My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lesson with Marta. Not only were her instructions excellent, but the results were great, and the additional food items served with our pierogi were a nice surprise! Her kitchen alone is worth a visit! Her price for the class is very fair and reasonable.

Wonderful experience for a traveller seeking real food experiences
What a lovely way to lunch and learn in Krakow! Marta is an excellent teacher and chef. We learned to make 3 different kinds of pierogi and then she served us a delicious soup, the pierogis and homemade bread and cheesecake. Oh, did I mention the vodka???
Marta was a very accommodating host and great at explaining all the steps to making delicious pierogi. Very enjoyable few hours- thank you
