I have been hunting for many years and venison dishes are my specialty. Therefore deer and wild boar, which Polish cuisine is famous for, appears at my table. It may be, for example, a slow cooked deer shank, roasted loin or leg, served with apple horseradish.
How about homemade, white roasted sausage, which I will make for you? In the summer time I will cook aromatic fish soup “Kłobuka” with a lot of garlic and tomatoes, sprinkled with fresh herbs from my vegetable garden. In addition, do try my dill pickles - for example, crunchy cucumbers. If you like snails, just tell me in advance and I will cook them for you the French way, with a lot of butter, garlic and parsley. Very simple and delicious. They taste the best served with sourdough bread. At the end of the meal, homemade liqueurs (nalewka) will help digestion !
In wintertime I close my countryside house and move to Kraków, so feel invited to my apartment in the Jewish quarter of the city, called Kazimierz.

I am an eternally busy pensioner, who still wants to be active. I feel like a citizen of the world, having long lived in the United States. I love people, good food and drinks - it's better to eat and drink well than stick to silly talk! I’m a party animal. I have a degree in animal husbandry, but never worked in this profession. I am the father of two daughters - Anna and Agnieszka. And grandfather - not only to the little ones (five grandchildren). For years I have been hunting and game dishes are my specialty. Recently I have also started “hunting” for snails, whose taste remains in one’s memory for a long time.
