The youngest of 6 sisters, Mira was born and brought up in the town of Haenam, famous across the country for its food. Mira was taught how to cook in a family setting, and was also brought up with a love of fresh ingredients – both from the family property, and from the nearby sea.
Mira has been living in Krakow for over 7 years, and has even created her own small garden on her terrace in Salwator where she grows vegetables and herbs essential to create genuine Korean food. Another amazing EATAWAY experience at Mira’s house. Mira served pickled cucumber, kimchi and onions pickled in Korean soy sauce. Fresh spring rolls will raw red pepers, and veggies a little chicken and crab, Next, sweet and sour chicken all made from scratch in a rice flour shell with 4 types of sushi. For dessert, a gluten free slice of rice flour cake topped with Mira’s strawberry drizzle. All lovingly homemade all fresh and all delicious. Served, of course, on Mira’s beautiful Polish Pottery! There were 9 of us for dinner, all interesting with great stories to tell and things in common. These EATAWAY events are not just about the food. It’s really about sharing an experience with people in my new city, making connections and building community. But...the food is great too! Thank you Mira and Eataway for another great evening

The dinner at Mira's place was a surprise gift I made for my wife on her name-day. I chose the "Mira's chopsticks" and it was just perfect. We spent a lovely evening there feeling more like family members than guests and the food...proved to be simply delicious. It was our first experience with Korean food but we enjoyed every single dish. Aside from being a wonderful cook Mira is a perfect host, she even prepared a delicious cake for my wife. We are planning to visit her again soon both to repeat the Mira's Chopsticks feast and to try other Korean dishes as well.
Mira easily wins our highest recommendation - if you are looking for an idea to spend a unique evening just visit Mira - you cannot go wrong with her!

It was fantastic! Kimchi/sweet and sour chicken/sushi was all super tasty, lovely presentation. Great hospitality from Mira. She is a super host. All the guests were super friendly and fun to talk to. 10/10 would recommend.

I went with a group of 8 friends to Mira's apartment. She was so welcoming and her apartment so spacious and clean! The food was so authentic and tasty, from the appetizers, to the fresh spring rolls, egg-veggie pancakes, chicken, sushi and sweet rice dessert. For the welcome drink and all the courses we had, it was well worth what we paid. When we left we were asking ourselves why we didn't do this earlier. Best Asian food I've had in Poland!
