Nobo Borsho (Bengali New Year)
Countdown has already begun and “Nobo Borsho” or “Pohela Boisakh” is coming very soon!
Before we go to the menu here is little information on “Pohela Boisakh” for our non-Bengali friends who doesn’t have any clue about it. Pohela boisakh is the 1st day of Bengali New Year. It is celebrated around mid-April; specifically either on 14th or 15th of the month. On this auspicious day everybody wears traditional dresses and exchange gifts and wishes among friends and families. Guests are greeted with sweets and snacks. And Bengalis being known for their love of food with traditional preparations are the best attraction of this celebration.
