For me, Poland means hospitality and taking the best possible care of your guests. It means warmth, coziness and a loving home. The heart of the house has always been a kitchen in which I would sit with my beloved to share food, stories, everyday problems, and happiness. A home without the smell of a tasty pie, hot soup, and a welcoming smile just isn't a real one.

Let me introduce you to this world and come to taste my Polish dinner which must be big, tasty and long :) We will begin with a starter, which will include homemade bread and finish with tea with the addition of homemade confiture or a fruit syrup. Hope to see you there!

A home without the smell of tasty pie, hot soup, and a welcoming smile just isn't a real one.I would like to introduce you to Polish cuisine, which, I believe, is still not well-discovered. The second great passion that I would like to share with you is Polish art and culture, and my knowledge about my hometown, Kraków. I will share some stories and tips about the city if you like. I will be happy to welcome you to my house.

Thanks Hannah for giving me a true, heartwarming glimpse into Polish culture and daily life through your highly-rated, home-based cooking workshop. Skipping the commercial tours in the city was the best choice, as learning the traditional art of pierogi from scratch while listening to polish history, culture, and your personal life story made my solo travels incredibly special. Your amazing Christmas pierogi completely melted my heart upon the first bite, delivering an authentic local flavor that far surpassed any dumplings I have ever tasted in Chinese cuisine!

We did the pierogi workshop as a family of 5 with kids 8, 11, and 13. Everyone had a wonderful time and were able to participate. We thoroughly enjoyed the private experience in Hanna’s home. Everything we made was delicious and our kids are excited to go home and try to remake some of the dishes.

We were a group of 6 and had a wonderful night with Hannah and her husband enjoying a fantastic home cooked polish meal and their great company. They made us feel so welcome and we learned so much about Polish life and history. The evening flew by and we parted as friends.

Hanna was a bit concerned that people might be put off because their home is slightly out of the city centre. I would say absolutely don't be put off, it was an easy 10-15 minute taxi ride, and in the summer you could easily cycle on the riverside path direction to their house. Anyway, the evening and the food is worth a few minutes in a cab.

Highly recommended!

From a guest in the group: The atmosphere was very family-like. Ms. Hanna engaged the entire group in making pierogi. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm. The workshop was held in a wonderful atmosphere, with conversations and anecdotes from the childhoods of both the group and Hanna. Interesting stories about the culinary history of Poland and Krakow were also shared. The closing feast took place in the kitchen where the workshop was held. The tableware was very interesting, and the pierogi dishes were delicious! After all, after such a good lesson, everything had to be delicious, and we were diligent students. And one more thing – the borscht! The red (beetroot) borscht that Ms. Hania served was delicious! Therefore, the culinary workshops led by Ms. Hanna were a hit and I recommend them to everyone!
