shared meal Tallinn, Estonia

Baltic herring is a small fish, living only in Baltic sea. It looks a bit like sprat but really it's just a species of herring.

I usually don't buy fillets from shop; they tend to be try, standing there in the air. I like to use fresh fish and fillet them by myself.

Fillets are seasoned with bit of seasalt and freshly grinded white pepper; soaked in egg-milk mixture (at least the eggs are from home farm in Raplamaa) and then covered with wheat flour. Then the fish is fried in butter.

The sauce is simple sauce from butter, wheat flour, bit of milk and mayonnaise, flavored simply with salt and white pepper.

Served with boiled potatoes and fresh salad with greens and canned peas.

Love the life :) I think it's most important thing to say.I do care a lot of my friends and I try always to be there for them.I have my dear son, boyfriend and two cats I live with.I've studied art and environmental sciences, I've been working in theatre, for air company and for travel agencies, for university and now around 17 years for pressphoto agency; but I do some works for some environmental projects (mostly in consumption area) sometimes, too. I'm editor in weather information website (not the National Weather Service). Also I am volunteering in some projects. During summer I am helping to get people to Pakri islands and guide them there.I am proud of my country and I like to show around, also talk about our country and my hometown, Tallinn. Politics and sports are not my topics :)I took lot of photos but am not so good in sending them online :) I like reading. Love the jazz music. In the summer I like to fly stunt kite. And when possible, I try to go for a walk.
