Food on the Farm
A half day event at the Polish countryside. Peace and quiet in a secluded farmhouse just 35 km from Krakow. Family-run, Leśniakowka is an ideal place for all year holidays, family get-togethers and generally good and relaxing times. Enjoy hearty home cooking with Kasia and her mother Maria.
From 12noon to 5 pm we would love to welcome you for a real regional food experience that will include a very traditional and typical to this region pearl barley and pea soup, pierogi (which you can see being prepared and even help with if you'd like!) and a salad. For a dessert, an apple pie from apples from our orchard, as well as homemade juice or compote. If you're still hungry, we'll finish up with local cheese and sausage platter and a taste of our own homemade liqueur, coffee or tea.
You can also take the time to explore the surrounding forest or simply enjoy the nature on one of our hammocks. Season permitting you're welcome to hunt for wild mushrooms or taste the local honey or fruit from our orchard. Many people come here from all over the world and absolutely love it!
If you have a problem getting to our property, we can help in organising transport.

delikatne, cienkie ciasto i bardzo dobrze skomponowany farsz. Czuć wprawną rękę i wyczucie smaku świetnej kucharki.
Dobrze spróbować samemu, żaden opis nie odda smaku.

A fabulous escape from Krakow. Kasia and her mother cook incredible, home-made food at the farm. Even more importantly, you can expect a genuinely warm welcome. If the weather is good, take a walk in the wonderful woods surrounding their home and hunt for mushrooms!
