Our Middle Eastern food is rich with vegetarian food, we rely heavily on what the ground offers us, therefore, we have many dishes that they are composed of green leaves (we have plenty of them), that we saute in olive oil with chopped onions and salt and pepper.
Mjaddarah is just another type for the richness we have when it comes to vegetarian food. It is rice cooked with brown lentils and decorated with lots of onions fried in olive oil.
This dish is best eaten with cucumber, garlic and yogurt salad and a green salad.
In this experience, we are offering our guests, the possibility to try our version of the vegetarian food.
Together with our volunteers team at www.i-dare.org who are working in creating the culture and boosting social tourism in Jordan we are organizing (free Amman evening walks, hiking and trekking in Ajloun with locals, and dining with locals in Amman).
