I have been cooking ever since I moved out from my parents and started living on my own, that is to say for the past 15 years. Cooking calms me down and stimulates my creativity.I especially love these sorts of challenges: an empty refrigerator, a sudden change in my children’s tastes, or rhubarb season.It is important for me to use seasonal produce available locally, and waste as little as possible anything that can be processed in the kitchen and eaten (i.e.: tea with apple skins, chips made from carrot or potato peel).My kitchen is a mix of traditional Polish with touches of Mediterranean cuisine: simple dishes made with traditional techniques – just great home cooking.
