Traditional Greek Cooking Class
Together with our fabulous local cook, Vasia you will learn how to prepare a three course traditional Greek meal here in the heart of Athens using fresh, local produce all bought from the Athens' Central Market.
Prepared in the morning and served up for lunch you won't be hungry for the rest of the day.
The course includes all ingredients, instructions from our highly experienced local cook and wine with the meal.
A pre-class trip around the central market to learn all about the products in Greece and experience shopping like a local is also possible. A half-hour guided walk can be requested in advance for an extra €6 per person.

We are The Greek Kitchen, a group of friends from the UK, Bulgaria and Greece who got together to create something new and fun in Athens to introduce people to and really make the most of the amazing ingredients that we have here in the Greek capital! After years of working in the tourist industry as guides we have now settled and want to bring fun dining experiences to visitors to Athens and share with them one of our secrets; rooftop dining with one of the best views of the Acropolis!We still travel because that's where we learn more about food and find out what we can do to make our experiences here more interesting and exciting for the people who come to dine or cook with us.Here at The Greek Kitchen we are lucky enough to not have any restrictions at all on what we eat but we are more than happy to cater for people who have dietary needs.

They are good entertainers and know the histories of the ingredients and dishes. Their place is in the center of Athens and very close to everything. The view of the Acropolis from the roof is amazing even when it's windy and cold.
Everything was tasty and we will come back when we come to Athens again.
I would recommend this dinner, we were strangers to start with but now friends.

I have just had a fantastic evening with Stephen and Nevy at The Greek Kitchen! The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it, nice drinks and all local dishes; you could taste how fresh it all was.
The hosts are really fun, have lots of stories about their experiences as tour leaders and travellers. It wasn't warm enough for us to have dinner on the rooftop but we did go up to see the amazing view of the Athens' skyline. Their place is amazing, not their home but a small, cute cooking school in the city centre. I'm going to come back and book a place on one of their cooking classes.
