I was born and brought up in East India, where food is celebrated and revered. My family is a very traditional one, and I learned the art of cooking from my mother, grandmother and the ladies of the family.

Cooking is a passion and an integral part of who I am, and I absolutely love cooking for people. Throughout my life, I've lived in many cities both in India and elsewhere, and have spent a significant amount of my life in a metropolitan environment. Because of this, I have had the pleasure of sharing and experiencing different cooking styles with friends from India and the world.

During my 14 years in Krakow, with my knowledge of the Indian culinary world, and my new-found familiarity with Europe's cuisines, I have attended and participated in events at restaurants, hotels and cafes, helping to teach the ins and outs of Indian cooking.

My journey with Eataway started in 2015, almost at the very beginning. Being a member of the Eataway family, during this period, I've had the opportunity to meet and feed thousands of extremely interesting individuals from all over the globe, each with their own special story. Thanks to the homely atmosphere that Eataway created, every dinner that I served became memorable to me, and I believe the guests went home with pleasant memories, a slice of the taste of India, and a satisfied heart and stomach. I hope you can join me soon so I can share the secrets of Indian cooking with you too!

We had a wonderful evening, starting with a traditional reception and welcome drink (very healthy), followed by an introduction into the Indian cultural life, particularly the history of the "Holi Feast" and how it is celebrated nowadays in India (wish we could be there one day). Then we had our own "feast". Sheuli explained each individual dish together with all ingredients she used including special spices imported from India (forgot to ask her for copy of the recipes), amazing!!! Needs a lot of time to prepare, especially the chicken biriyani, but it is worth it. Unfortunately could not eat more of the biriyani because of further dishes to taste. Altogether it was great, not to forget the nice wines and cold beers. Thanks to Sheuli and her husband who "made us work" after dinner when we were following the typical tradition of the "holi celebration" to create phantasy colourful paintings with a variety of Indian powder colours (Yossi's painting won the first price). It was a great experience (from 7 till 11 p.m.), thanks again for everything. Sandra & Elmar

As Sheuli explained to us, Holi is a celebration of unity and diversity - and so it was! Three generations at the table, five or more nationalities and dozens of unique stories. The company was amazing and so the food was - Sheuli was kind enough to provide vegan alternatives especially for me and my girlfriend - namaste!

Not only did we enjoy great food and conversation, but we also learnt a lot about Indian culture (thanks to Prodi, who introduces us to the art of rangoli and other Indian traditions).

Holi feast - a true feast! <3

This was a true feast in every way! I loved the rich and varied tastes of traditional festival food prepared by Sheuli -- all the way from the starters to the desserts. The company was lovely, and the hospitality of the whole family was very warm and open. It was fantastic that we could learn more about the history and tradition of Holi celebrations, and great fun to make rangoli -- the pictures of colourful sand. Thank you for this memorable evening and a lovely experience -- happy Holi!
