For the last 5 years, I have been teaching people how to cook delicious food at my home, and I also run food workshops such as the Pierogi Power Workshop, Fermentation Workshop and more. Recently I was the host of a big food event for The Krakow Pierogi Festival and Harvest Festival. (I also appear regularly on TV and radio as a guest, discussing subjects related to home cooking, the sharing economy and food tech.) I’ve always enjoyed sharing my knowledge of my beautiful hometown, and more about the art of Polish cuisine, both through the website and with all the wonderful travellers I meet in person.
My grandmother and my mother were great cooks. That means delicious, home-made food freshly-prepared.
Restaurants are great, but sometimes it seems it would be better to enjoy a home-cooked meal with someone who can also tell me a bit more about their experiences, their lives and their cities. So, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I cook for up to 14 people at my home in Krakow and you’re invited. Please join me!
Great workshop, brilliant teacher. My friend really enjoyed it and the food was delicious

Marta was such a great host, teacher and cook. She made sure we always had something to entertain ourselves, from cooking tasks to tasting or drinking. She showed us how the dough was made and how to assemble different types of pierogis. Eventually, we ate all those we prepared, plus a delicious homemade pie and a shot of vodka, accompanied by tips and recommandations about Krakow.
What a great time! Our family was a group of 8 and veryone had a great time and the food was awesome. And Marta is the epitome of a host, loved every minute.
Loved our experience with Marta, she was so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious!
Such a wonderful night, great company and delicious food! One of the highlights of my Mum & my time in Poland. Thank you Martha :)

Great Evening! Marta introduced us not only to cooking of excellent Pierogi but also to habits and cultural traits of Poland in general. We enjoyed the evening very much and would be more than happy to redo the workshop with Marta.
It was really good! Marta is just very very nice and we had so much fun. The food was delicious.
To było jedno z najpiękniejszych doświadczeń kulinarnych w moim życiu. Wszystko wokół i przede mną na talerzu sprawiło, że czułem się wyjątkowo, szczęśliwie. Wielkie ukłony!

Przysłowie rzeczywiście stare, z czasów przed EatAway'em i piknikami w Marcyporębie - no bo jakże mógłby się ktoś bardziej mylić widząc to wczorajsze zamieszanie. Kucharek (i kucharzy) było wielu - pozwolę sobie wymienić tylko niektórych: Martę, Mirę, Sheuli, Zoe, Seiko, Shruti, Hannę, Małgorzatę i Piotra - a jedzenia zatrzęsienie! I wszystko pyszne. A do tego: świetna muzyka, miła atmosfera i fantastyczni ludzie.
Za rok, z pewnością znów wezmę udział w pikniku. Już nie mogę się doczekać.
Great place, tasteful dishes and nice people
