I am a food lover and a founder of Kolektyw Samo Dobro - culinary initiative in Tricity. I specialise in vegetarian cooking and I organise culinary events. As I was born in Gdansk I would like to share my knowledge about the best food and places in my hometown.

We meet in Cafe Lamus next to Lawendowa 8. First we are going to discuss your choice about today’s menu.
After we will take a walk to Hala Targowa (local market) just 50 metres and pick up all the fresh ingredients. You will learn more about Polish local products like Sauerkraut, beetroots and pickled cucumbers.
After shopping we are going to cook together Christmas menu: fresh pierogi with cabbage & mushrooms, beetroot soup called Barszcz and Bigos - traditional cabbage stew.

This was the highlight of our trip to Poland! My daughter is a foodie/works in restaurants and she loved it. Highly recommend. Judyta was a great teacher--we learned so much about the culture, food, history and also how to make 3 types of pierogies, plus other dishes (which better to keep as a surprise) and then shared them for delicious lunch. Many little extras--I don't want to spoil it for you, but so worth it.
